Deputy Home Manager

Our client is a leading provider of care to the elderly in residential settings throughout the UK.

We are currently recruiting for a dynamic and ambitious individual for the post of Deputy Manager for a 35 bedded elderly residential home in Cornwall which is situated near the seaside between the towns of Camborne and Hayle.

The home suits residents who have mobility issues and has flexible policies on personal freedoms in order to support individuals in choosing their own lifestyles, with a wide range of activities available.

The ideal applicant will have a strong background in caring for the elderly and previous experience of supervising staff in a care setting at a Deputy Manager or Senior Carer level.

A relevant qualification such as an NVQ 3 would be an advantage but is not essential.

The rate of pay is between £7.50 - £8ph depending on experience. The role is full-time days (occasional night shifts may need to be covered in the event of sickness or absence).
