Nursing Home Manager - RGN - Portsmouth

A superb opportunity has arisen for a Manager with Nursing qualifications to join an excellent independent provider of elderly care services. You will work within a delightful care home based in Portsmouth, Hampshire. It is medium sized home and caters for the needs of the elderly some of which have Alzheimer’s / dementia related conditions.

My client requires an RGN with sound clinical skills in addition to having a proven track record in management and leadership. In addition to excellent clinical skills you must have knowledge of CQC.

Successful candidates will be responsible for monitoring the state of wellbeing of each resident and writing care plans. You will oversee the on-going marketing of the care home and liaise closely with relatives. Excellent CQC standards must be maintained as are high levels of on going patient care.

Key Requirements:

• Previous nursing home experience
• Previous managerial experience
• Strong knowledge of legislation eg CQC standards
• Good clinical skills
