SUPPORT WORKER - LEARNING DISABILITIES (Permanent) - SOUTHAMPTON
Location: Southampton, Dorset
Setting: Residential Service (complex/high needs)
Salary: £13,500 - £15,800
Hours: 37.5 hrs p/week - Full-time - Shifts (earlies/lates/sleep-ins) - on rota basis

A permanent Support Worker vacancy has arisen within a specialist registered service for 7 people with Learning Disabilities and intensive support needs including physical disabilities, wheelchair users, some complex health needs and some challenging behaviour in the Southampton area of Dorset.

Following their recent re-structure, this leading, national Care & Support organisation is looking to appoint a permanent Support Worker for this excellent service, to provide person-centred, highly individualised care for the people they support. You will ideally have at least 6-12 months of working with people with Learning Disabilities in a similar setting - however, a great deal of professional experience is not necessary for this post - as long as you have a passion for working with people with Learning Disabilities, and demonstrate the personal attributes that enable you to provide outstanding care and support.
