SYK Recruitment is looking for a Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join their client's prestigious nursing home group in the North London area. The home is a medium sized home and caters for the frail and elderly residents that require nursing care. It also caters for service users with dementia. It offers a relaxing and calm atmosphere for the residents. You must be RGN qualified and have a real passion for elderly care. The role could offer further progression within the group. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience. Experience of working within a Nursing home environment would be desirable
Job Duties for Registered General Nurse (RGN):
• Manage the nursing care for a defined caseload of clients
• Maintain high standards of nursing care
• Tailor care plans to help patients develop a range of coping skills, build self esteem, and confidence
• Enable patients to move on to less restrictive environments
• Demonstrate quality clinical practice
• Develop and maintain interpersonal relationships with team members
• Manage your own professional development
• Risk management
• Health and safety
• Participate in unit projects, audits and quality initiatives
• Infection control

The successful Registered General Nurse (RGN) must have:
• Experience working with adults in Elderly care
• Valid NMC PIN
• Qualified RGN nurse
• Articulate and knowledgeable about health care issues
• Relevant experience
• Ability to work flexible working pattern, including weekends
• Passion for helping patients improve their life
