Garden Maintenance Team Leader – London
Full-Time | High-End Residential Gardens
We are working with a number of high-end London-based clients who are seeking an experienced and motivated Garden Maintenance Team Leader to join their established teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable horticulturist with strong leadership skills to take responsibility for maintaining prestigious private gardens to an exceptional standard, while leading and supporting a small team on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and supervising a small garden maintenance team
- Maintaining high-end gardens to an exceptional standard
- Liaising directly with clients in a professional and confident manner
- Operating and maintaining horticultural tools and machinery
- Ensuring equipment is well maintained and used safely
- Adhering to current health and safety regulations
- Carrying out a full range of seasonal horticultural tasks
Requirements
- Proven experience in garden maintenance, with team leadership or supervisory experience
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- RHS Level 2 / NVQ Level 3 in Horticulture (or equivalent, or working towards)
- Strong plant knowledge and practical horticultural skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and willing to undertake manual work
Desirable:
- PA1 & PA6 spraying certificates
