About the Role

Zen Educate is looking for a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to inspire students, develop their practical skills, and deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in Food Technology.

• Inspire students to develop practical cooking skills, nutritional understanding, and creativity.

• Prepare students for GCSE exams, ensuring progress is tracked and supported.

• Maintain a safe and well-managed classroom and food technology environment.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4.

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

• Ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities.

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
