Location: Cardiff (Hybrid – head office plus regional travel)
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 4:30 pm
We’re looking for a Qualified Assessor to join a supportive, employee-owned organisation and guide apprenticeship learners to achieve recognised qualifications. Your experience in care and training will inspire and develop the next generation of care professionals.
What you’ll be doing
- Support and assess learners across South Wales, visiting workplaces to deliver tailored guidance
- Design and manage Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) to meet each learner’s needs
- Evaluate evidence of skills and maintain accurate records of progress and attendance
- Deliver and arrange day-release training, ensuring compliance with awarding body requirements
- Achieve performance targets while maintaining the highest training and assessment standards
- Relevant training experience and a recognised teaching/assessing qualification (A1 Assessor Award, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent)
- Experience in an apprenticeship setting
- Strong occupational background and technical competence in Health & Social Care
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Willingness to complete a company-funded DBS check and register with the EWC
- Welsh language skills
