Service care solutions are currently working alongside a well-known local authority, based in West Yorkshire, which is seeking an Adult Social Care Solicitor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to progress in your career and gain experience in the Adult Social Care industry.

This role pays a competitive rate of:
PAYE (Inc.Hol) - £44.06 - £48.41 per hour  
Umbrella - £50 - £55 per hour

This role is on a 3 months contract with potential to extend.

Responsibilities as an Adult Social Care Solicitor:
  • Research and interpret legislation and any changes in legislation relating to the post holder’s main activities and advise thereon. Ensure that all forms of contracts, deeds, documentation and procedures used are updated in the interests of the Council to accord with legislative changes and case law and conform to current legal requirements and best practice.
  • Attend Court with Counsel as instructing representative if required.
  • Able to handle a high caseload in Adult social care from start to completion.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance as appropriate for your own area of expertise.
About you as an Adult Social Care Solicitor:
  • Experience as an advocate in Court of Protection
  • Has worked in the Adult Social Care legal team for the local authority.
  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with at least 3 years’ experience in Adult social care law.
