Our client, a well-established surveying and engineering company based in Wigan, is currently seeking an experienced CAD Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected business delivering high-quality survey and engineering projects across the UK.

📍 Location

Wigan, Greater Manchester

💼 The Role

As a CAD Engineer, you will play a key role in producing accurate and detailed drawings from survey data to support a range of engineering and construction projects.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality 2D and 3D CAD drawings from survey data

  • Interpret topographical, measured building, and utility survey information

  • Liaise with surveyors and project managers to ensure accuracy

  • Amend and update technical drawings as required

  • Ensure work is delivered on time and to required standards

✅ Candidate Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D advantageous)

  • Previous experience working with survey data

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to manage workload effectively

  • Strong communication skills

⭐ Desirable

  • Background in surveying or civil engineering

  • Knowledge of UK industry standards

  • Experience with 3D modelling
