The job description below will outline this position of: Workshop Engineer
Typically, this person will be involved in a range of activities surrounding the maintenance of engines and ancillary equipment. Such as engine servicing, repairs, ancillary repairs and more - a solid mechanical fitter, generator engineer, marine engineer, agricultural or HGV engineer will suit this position.

Duties and responsibilities of the Workshop Engineer:
• Prepare and maintain engines and associated equipment
• Ability to diagnose faults on diesel engines and associated electrical systems
• Perform routine maintenance such as regular engine servicing as per the manufacturer's maintenance schedules
• Produce accurate reports on dispatched and returned equipment
• Carry out Pre-Delivery Tests & Inspections to the highest standard
• Identify and plan work in a methodical manner to meet equipment dispatch targets
• Ensure a proactive health and safety culture is adhered to and maintained
Qualifications and requirements for the Workshop Engineer:
• Ability to drive
• Relevant qualifications in the Mechanical or Electrical field, or time served
