Parts Advisor

Salary: Up to £35,000 DOE

Hours: 40h week (4 DAY WEEK ONLY)

We are currently seeking an experienced Parts Advisor/ Parts Person / Parts Co-ordinator to join a busy and growing automotive bodyshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Parts Advisor who is looking to develop their career, with clear progression available into a Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) role.

As a Parts Advisor/ Parts Person / Parts Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in supporting workshop operations by ensuring accurate parts supply, efficient stock management, and smooth day-to-day coordination within the department. This role is ideally suited to a Parts Advisor with strong organisational skills and a proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities of Parts Advisor/ Parts Person / Parts Co-ordinator:

• Managing the ordering, receiving, and allocation of vehicle parts and accessories
• Maintaining accurate stock control and inventory records
• Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts
• Processing invoices, purchase orders, and returns
• Supporting workshop technicians with parts availability and queries
• Carrying out general administrative duties, including data entry and documentation management
• Monitoring stock levels and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency
• Assisting with internal reporting and departmental organisation

Skills & Experience Required for Parts Advisor/ Parts Person / Parts Co-ordinator:

• Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or in a similar parts coordination role
• Knowledge of systems such as Kerridge, Autoflow, Partslink, or similar
• Strong administrative and organisational abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage workload effectively
