Salary: £31,000 per annum
Vanta Staffing are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Team Leader to join a fast-paced E-Commerce operation based in Slough. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a busy warehouse environment and is looking to progress within a growing business.
This role will see you leading day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, while maintaining high standards of productivity, organisation and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Oversee all warehouse activities including inbound goods, storage, picking, packing, shipping and returns
- Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and dispatched on time
- Maintain high standards of quality, productivity and operational efficiency
- Develop and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Train and support new and existing team members on warehouse processes and safety procedures
- Monitor warehouse equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Work closely with management to identify opportunities for operational improvements
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Resolve order discrepancies and warehouse-related issues promptly and professionally
- Liaise with customer service teams regarding customer enquiries and feedback
- Previous warehouse leadership or supervisory experience within a fast-paced environment
- Minimum 3 years warehouse experience preferred
- Experience within E-Commerce or high-volume order fulfilment environments advantageous
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team effectively
- Proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Valid FLT licence required
- Dangerous Goods certification preferred but not essential
- Temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term career prospects
