Are you an experienced Service Manager looking for your next opportunity in York? Do you have a passion for supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and complex needs?
We are recruiting a dedicated Service Manager to lead a 4-bed supported living service in York. This Service Manager role focuses on supporting adults with learning disabilities, alongside individuals with mental health needs, complex needs, and mobility challenges. As Service Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred support within a well-established learning disabilities service in York.
Key Responsibilities - Service Manager
Lead, motivate, and develop a team delivering support to adults with learning disabilities in York
Ensure high-quality, person-centred care within the learning disabilities service
Supervise, mentor, and support staff development as Service Manager
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training within the York service
Ensure full CQC compliance and adherence to learning disabilities best practice
Build strong relationships with individuals, families, and professionals across York
Monitor and review care plans for individuals with learning disabilities
Manage staffing, resources, and budgets as Service Manager in York
About You - Service Manager York
We are looking for an experienced Service Manager with a strong background in learning disabilities services in York.
You will ideally have:
Experience as a Service Manager or Deputy Manager within a CQC-regulated learning disabilities service
Strong experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs
Proven leadership skills within learning disabilities services in York or similar settings
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, CQC standards, and learning disabilities best practice
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
A passion for delivering high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities in York
