Assistant Quantity Surveyor

📍 Billericay, Essex | Full-Time

Join Guildprime Specialist Contracts Ltd and work on some of the UK’s most prestigious high-end fit-out and refurbishment projects across luxury residential, retail, hospitality and commercial sectors.

We’re looking for an ambitious Assistant QS with 2+ years’ experience who’s ready to develop their commercial skills, gain hands-on project exposure, and progress within a growing specialist contractor.

This role will be office based in Billericay, Essex, with Hybrid working after successful completion of probation period.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting cost control, valuations, procurement, and commercial reporting
• Working alongside experienced QS and Senior QS teams
• Assisting with subcontractor packages, variations and final accounts
• Collaborating with project and site teams on premium fit-out projects

What We’re Looking For

• 2 years’ QS experience in construction or fit-out
• Good understanding of commercial processes and JCT contracts
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar (or currently studying)
• Motivated, organised and eager to progress
