Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Bolton
Salary: £38,000 – £40,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 7:00am–4:00pm or 8:00am–5:00pm

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading facilities management company, working within a large commercial and industrial environment in Bolton.

This is a site-based role working as part of a strong on-site engineering team, offering excellent training, overtime opportunities and long-term career progression.

The Role:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across electrical and building services systems.
• Supporting maintenance across lighting, power and associated M&E plant.
• Fault finding and diagnosing issues within a commercial environment.
• Working closely with the wider engineering team to maintain site operations.
• Supporting compliance tasks and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 7am–4pm or 8am–5pm
• Every Wednesday: 5am–1:30pm due to scheduled compliance testing

• Large commercial/industrial building
• Modern facilities including offices, canteen and operational areas
• 3-person engineering team onsite

Package:

• £38,000 – £40,000 basic salary

Requirements:

• Electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent).
• Experience within building services or commercial maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
