The Role - Quality Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our client’s team at their state-of-the-art facility based in Tewkesbury on a contract basis.

Our client design and manufacture complex mechanical products for global application in the aerospace and defence sectors.

Key deliverables of this position will centre around Production or Manufacturing Quality specifically.

Duties - Quality Engineer

• Defect investigations / root cause analysis / 8D Investigations 
• Corrective action / improvement introduction
• Responsibility for day to day Quality Assurance activities
• Quality systems maintenance and improvement, where required.
• Support the planning and delivery of quality activities.
• Investigate non-conformances and support root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities across manufacturing.
• Help ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements (e.g. AS9100, CAA, EASA)

Background - Quality Engineer

• Strong problem-solving tools (e.g. 8D, RCCA)
• Experience of working in an AS9100 environment.
• Knowledge and practical experience with PFMEA.
• Experience in supporting Production and Manufacturing.
