DNA Recruitment, on an exclusive agency basis, is representing a well-established, family-owned community pharmacy that has been serving the Bristol area for many years and has built a strong local reputation for pharmacist care and service.

The owner is now looking to take a step back from the day-to-day running of the pharmacy and is seeking a capable and personable pharmacist to lead the pharmacy alongside a supportive and experienced pharmacist team.

The Role

• Opening hours: 9am - 6pm
• Undisturbed lunch break - choice of 30 minutes or a full 1 hour
• 4-day working week available
• Occasional Saturday mornings (9am - 1pm) would be helpful, but are not essential

About the Pharmacy

• Dispensing an average of 7,000 - 8,000 items per month, with clear potential for growth
• Predominantly walk-in patients
• Around 100 blister packs, supported by a dedicated team
• Delivery service in place
• No care homes
• Fully paperless pharmacy with an electronic register

The Team

You will be supported by a strong and well-structured team:

• Store Manager / Supervisor - supports with paperwork, rotas, and operational tasks, allowing the pharmacist to focus on delivering excellent patient care
• ACT - 4 days per week
• Operations Manager + Dispenser
• 1 Full-Time Dispenser
• 2 Part-Time Counter Assistants

The Ideal Candidate

The owner is looking for a pharmacist with:

• A great personality and natural flair
• Commitment to a long-term, stable, permanent role
• A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for upskilling and developing the pharmacist team
• Motivation to grow NHS and private services
• Ideally a few years of experience, although very confident newly qualified pharmacist candidates will also be considered
