Quality Engineer

Our client, a prominent player in the nuclear sector, is seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to join their team on a contract basis in Reading. This role is crucial for ensuring that all procedures and documentation meet QC1 requirements while providing key oversight and inspection duties on a major infrastructure project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and acceptance of procedures and documentation in accordance with QC1 requirements
- Conducting QC inspections in line with accepted ITPs
- Ongoing review and final acceptance of Lifetime Records (LTRs)
- Witnessing tests and on-site inspections
- Attending required meetings to ensure project alignment and compliance
Job Requirements:
- SC Clearance or above (a must to be considered)
- Experience in a quality-related role on a major infrastructure project
- Civil engineering bias with experience in onsite inspections against an approved Detail Design
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Possession of a valid CSCS card
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
