The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30pm

Due to the continued expansion of the business, we have an excellent immediate opportunity for a self-motivated, dedicated Welder Fabricator to join their modern manufacturing facility in the Fabrication and Welding department.

The successful Welder Fabricator will be working on a wide range of fabrications and MIG Welding from small components to large, complicated chassis and frame works.

The role of Welder Fabricator will include:

  • Preparing mild steel and welding to high standards.
  • Fabricating and MIG welding components of varying size and complexity.
  • Preparing finishing fabrications for shot blast and paint – grinding, sanding and de splattering.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Meeting production targets.
  • A focus on quality.

As a leading manufacturer of agricultural equipment with a reputation for supplying high quality machines within the UK and Worldwide.  You will be working in a with steel preparation, fabrication facilities so you must have MIG Welding and fabrication experience for this role.  Initially this is short term temporary contract but could be extended.

Additionally, TIG welding and stainless steel/aluminium fabrication experience would be an advantage along with Forklift and overhead crane certificates, but training will be provided.
