Job Title: Project Manager

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum + Company Car

Employment Type: Permanent

Location: Site-based, Monday to Friday

Current & Future Locations: Coventry, Manchester, Scotland

Project Duration: 4 months to 1 year (with ongoing future projects)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site-Based Project Manager to join a growing construction and remediation contractor on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will manage projects from inception through to completion, with a strong focus on external works and building envelope packages.

This role requires a hands-on Project Manager who is comfortable working on site full-time and overseeing multiple trades on live construction environments.

Project Scope

Projects typically involve a combination of:

• Glazing
• Roofing
• Rainscreen cladding
• External Wall Insulation (EWI)
• Facades
• Building remediation works

Key Responsibilities

• Full end-to-end project management, from pre-start through to handover
• Day-to-day site management and coordination of subcontractors and operatives
• Preparation, review, and management of RAMS
• Overseeing and enforcing Health & Safety compliance on site
• Programming works and monitoring progress against programme
• Managing quality assurance and ensuring works meet specifications
• Liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Managing site resources, materials, and logistics
• Chairing site meetings and reporting on progress, risks, and variations
• Ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction or remediation
• Strong background in facades, cladding, roofing, glazing, or EWI works
• Experience running projects independently from inception to completion
• Good working knowledge of health & safety legislation and best practices
• Confident preparing and managing RAMS
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams on live sites
• Full UK driving licence essential
