This Litigation Solicitor role offers the opportunity to work on complex and varied disputes within a well-established, friendly and growing team involved in nationally reported cases.
Key Responsibilities for this Litigation Solicitor role:
- Manage a varied caseload of commercial and general civil litigation matters, including shareholder and company disputes, debt recovery, contract disputes, PI, negligence, and property litigation.
- Draft, prepare and organise witness statements, pleadings and trial bundles.
- Conduct advocacy in the County Court and High Court where appropriate.
- Liaise with Counsel and manage external legal resources effectively.
- Undertake costs management, budgeting and ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedures.
- Apply a strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and related procedural requirements.
- Achieve billing, time recording and fee-earning targets, while supporting the firm’s credit control processes.
- Contribute to business development and maintain strong client relationships.
- Provide strong advocacy in both County Court and High Court proceedings.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of CPR and litigation procedures.
