Quantum Scholars are looking to engage qualified teachers and experienced tutors to support pupils across Wokingham and surrounding areas through 1:1 SEND tuition from September 2026 onwards.

This work supports young people who are currently outside of mainstream education, including pupils accessing EOTAS provision and learners with SEND and/or SEMH needs.

We are expecting a significant increase in referrals for the new academic year, creating ongoing tutoring opportunities throughout September 2026 and beyond.

You must have the right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available.

This role is particularly well suited to:

• Teachers planning to leave the classroom at the end of the current academic year
• Educators looking for more flexible or part-time work
• Tutors wanting a more personalised and relationship-focused approach to teaching

Many referrals can offer regular weekly tuition, with some placements running up to 5 days per week (approx. 3 hours per day).

• Deliver tuition across core subjects (English, Maths, Science)
• Support primary and secondary-aged pupils
• Work with learners with SEND, SEMH, autism, ADHD, and school avoidance
• Tuition may take place in homes, schools, community settings, or online

• QTS / QTLS or strong tutoring experience
• Experience with SEND, EOTAS, or alternative provision learners desirable
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
• Strong safeguarding awareness
• Ability to travel locally within Wokingham
