Our client, a well-established electrical engineering contractor, is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Estimating Engineer to join their growing team in Halifax.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrically qualified estimator with strong technical and commercial awareness to join a business delivering a range of industrial and commercial projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates and tender submissions, interpreting drawings and specifications, liaising with suppliers and subcontractors, and supporting projects from enquiry stage through to handover. You will work closely with operational and engineering teams to ensure competitive and commercially viable tenders are produced.

Applicants should have previous experience within electrical estimating, along with a good understanding of electrical installations, labour and material take-offs, and current industry regulations including Wiring Regulations, Health & Safety and CDM. Experience using estimating software such as Trimble or Amtech ProDesign would be advantageous.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational and communication skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple tenders within a fast-paced environment. Experience within industrial or infrastructure sectors, along with knowledge of WIMES specifications and NICEIC standards, would also be beneficial.

Package:

• £40,000 - £48,000 salary DOE

• 37.5-hour working week
