We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and reflective Year 5 Class Teacher to join our supportive and welcoming primary school from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity to take over a well-settled class transitioning from Year 4, where strong relationships, routines and positive learning behaviours are already established. Within the class, there are a small number of pupils with additional needs, and we are looking for a teacher who is confident in adaptive teaching, inclusive practice, and working closely with support staff to ensure all pupils thrive.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has high expectations for all pupils
• Creates a calm, engaging and inclusive classroom environment
• Is confident adapting learning to meet a range of needs
• Works effectively with Teaching Assistants to support targeted provision
• Has strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
• Is committed to high-quality teaching and learning across the curriculum
• Values teamwork, collaboration and professional development
