An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Multi-Skilled Plumber to join a growing Facilities Management team supporting a large university campus in Bristol.

This role is ideal for someone with strong plumbing and building maintenance experience who enjoys a varied workload, problem-solving, and working within a customer-focused environment.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of mechanical and plumbing systems, ensuring buildings and equipment are maintained to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planned preventative maintenance on mechanical and plumbing systems
• Reactive repairs to plumbing, heating and ventilation systems
• Fault finding and resolving technical maintenance issues
• Minor building fabric repairs where required
• Completing maintenance reports and electronic job records
• Liaising with helpdesk teams and on-site stakeholders
• Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with regulations
• Participating in an out-of-hours rota

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants should have:

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or higher
• Minimum 3 years’ experience within building maintenance or facilities management
• Experience with planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical systems
• CSCS or ECS Card
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
