Toolmaker – Plastic Injection Moulding
Location: Tamworth
Salary: £48,000 + Benefits
Shifts: (Days Mon–Fri)
A well-established manufacturing company based in Tamworth is seeking a skilled and experienced Toolmaker with a strong background in plastic injection moulding to join its growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture, maintain, and repair injection mould tools to a high standard.
- Use precision machinery.
- Diagnose tooling issues and provide effective solutions.
- Work closely with the production and engineering teams to ensure smooth operation of moulding processes.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a toolmaker within a plastic injection moulding environment.
- Strong understanding of toolroom machinery and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills.
