Job: Commissioning Engineer

Location: Dublin (travel across Europe also required)

Salary: £65,000 – £70,000 per annum

Car Allowance: £8,400 per annum

Bonus: 10%+

Specialist Cooling Engineer – Dublin (EMEA)

We are looking for an experienced Specialist Cooling Engineer to support the commissioning, maintenance, and technical support of cooling systems within data centre environments across EMEA.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the lead engineer in Ireland overseeing the commissioning of data centre cooling systems.
• Commission and test HVAC and cooling systems including CRAC/CRAH units, in-row cooling, and coolant distribution systems.
• Carry out functional, load, and performance testing to ensure systems meet project and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cooling system issues during commissioning and maintenance activities.
• Produce commissioning reports, test documentation, and performance records.
• Provide technical support and training to engineers, project teams, and customers.
• Support planned and corrective maintenance activities under service agreements.
• Work closely with project managers, contractors, and engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Experience with HVAC and cooling systems, ideally within data centres.
• Strong knowledge of precision cooling, chilled water, DX systems, and BMS controls.
• Experience commissioning and troubleshooting complex cooling systems.
• Understanding of industry standards such as ASHRAE and ISO.
• F-gas cat 1
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Flexible approach with willingness to travel internationally across EMEA.
