Engineering Geologist

Location: Leeds
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

A growing multidisciplinary consultancy is looking to appoint an Engineering Geologist to join their talented and close-knit team in Leeds. Due to continued project wins, they are looking for an enthusiastic Engineering Geologist who enjoys working within a supportive medium-sized consultancy where progression and technical development are encouraged.

The Role

• Supervising and logging ground investigations
• Soil and rock logging to current British Standards
• Preparing factual ground investigation reports
• Coordinating site works, subcontractors and laboratory testing
• Assisting with interpretative reporting and geotechnical assessments
• Supporting geotechnical and geoenvironmental project delivery
• Liaising with clients, contractors and design teams
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget

Requirements

• Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology or a related subject
• Previous consultancy experience preferred
• Strong understanding of ground investigation techniques
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Motivated and team-oriented attitude
