Class 2 Driver Days
Location: Normanton, WF6 1RW
Shifts: Monday - Friday, starting at 8am
Pay Rate: £15.21 per hour

We're looking for full-time, Class 2 Day Drivers to join us at our site in Normanton. This role is temp to perm for the ideal candidate and will involve the loading / unloading roll cages filled with customer car parts.

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.

*Please note, ADR is preferred but not essential*

What you'll do on a typical day:
· Car part deliveries between customer sites, making collections and cage pulling when required.
· Safely operate your vehicle adhering to business standards.
· Using a handheld scanner and completing relevant paperwork.
· Vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA.

What you need to succeed with our client:
· HGV2 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
. ADR is preferred but not essential.
· No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
· A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
· Class 2 and multidrop delivery experience.
· Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
· A can-do attitude.
