Prospero Teaching are seeking an enthusiastic Part‑Time Science Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Cambridge from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator looking to contribute to a strong Science department while maintaining a part‑time schedule. The school is seeking a practitioner with solid subject knowledge, effective behaviour management, and the ability to inspire learners across KS3 and KS4.

📌 CONTRACT DETAILS

• Location - Cambridge

• Position - Part‑Time Science Teacher

• Type of work - Secondary class teaching

• Start date - September

• Duration - Ongoing / Long‑term

• Full time/part‑time - Part‑time

• Pay - To be discussed further

• Hours - Part‑time school hours (to be confirmed with the school)

📚 EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification in Science

• Recent experience teaching in a UK secondary school

• Up‑to‑date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)

✔️ TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK

• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one

• Provide two professional child‑related references
