The Role

Currently recruiting for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join a growing engineering team covering commercial and industrial sites across Manchester and the surrounding areas.

Engineers will typically travel within a 50-mile radius of Manchester, with occasional overnight stays required depending on project and service demands.

The successful candidate will be responsible for service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair work on a range of refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and reactive breakdown support on commercial and industrial refrigeration systems
• Fault finding and diagnostics on a variety of equipment including pack systems, cold rooms, chillers, and associated plant
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company and industry standards
• Completing service reports and documentation accurately
• Providing excellent customer service while on client sites
• Participating in on-call rota where required

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Refrigeration Engineer in commercial and/or industrial environments
• F-Gas qualified
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience working on refrigeration systems such as CO2, HFC, pack systems, cold rooms, or chillers desirable
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
