SEND Teaching Assistant

We are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants for SEND students at a college based in Aston.
The hours 08:30-15:00 Monday to Thursday inclusive each week.
This role is ongoing. Immediate starts.
Must be an experienced TA to work alongside complex needs students.
Responsibilities
- Working with SEND students aged 14-25 and (some) will need personal hygiene support. The students level of ability range from complex needs to Level 2 functional skills.
- 2:1 support (although non-behaviour) offering high level of support in order to achieve high outcomes for the students
- Must be proactive and energetic
Qualifications
- Minimum level 2 education and 1 year’s similar experience
- Enhanced children and adult DBS on the update service
- A caring and empathetic nature towards individuals requiring support
Experience:
- Teaching Assistant: 1 year (required)
- SEND: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- DBS on the update service (required)
- level 2 certificate in education (preferred)
