Prospero Teaching is recruiting for a welcoming and supportive primary school in Castle Bromwich seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting childrens learning and development within a nurturing school environment.

The Role

The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support teaching and learning across the school. You will assist pupils on a one-to-one basis, support small group interventions, and help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment where all children can thrive. The role may also include supporting pupils with additional learning needs and helping to promote positive behaviour and emotional well being throughout the school day.

This is a part-time, term-time only position and would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant or someone looking to further develop their career within education.

The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting
Be patient, caring, and enthusiastic
Have strong communication and teamwork skills
Be able to support pupils with varying learning needs
Hold a Level 3 TA qualification
Have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
