Freelance Contracts Manager – Residential
West Sussex
Immediate Start | Freelance Contract

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Contracts Manager to join a residential developer delivering multiple live projects across West Sussex.

This is an immediate requirement with a start date within the next week. The successful candidate will oversee 3 residential developments, ensuring programmes, quality, health & safety and site performance are maintained to a high standard.

Requirements:

  • Strong residential construction background
  • Proven experience managing both timber frame and traditional build housing projects
  • Experience overseeing multiple sites simultaneously
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Excellent knowledge of build programmes, site logistics and H&S compliance
  • Ability to drive quality and production across all phases of construction
  • Good client and subcontractor management experience

Responsibilities:

  • Managing Site Managers across 3 live developments
  • Monitoring programme delivery and build quality
  • Ensuring Health & Safety standards are maintained
  • Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and senior management
  • Driving production targets and resolving on-site issues
  • Reporting on progress, budgets and site performance

This role would suit a hands-on Contracts Manager with a strong housebuilding background who can hit the ground running and provide immediate operational support across multiple sites.

Freelance role – immediate start available.
