A leading Tier 1 Main Contractor is currently seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join their growing team working across major construction projects in Central London.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work across commercial, residential, mixed-use and infrastructure projects.

The Role

Reporting into the Health & Safety Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting site teams in maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and compliance across live construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out regular site inspections and audits
• Ensure compliance with current HSE legislation and company procedures
• Produce reports and safety documentation
• Support site management teams with risk assessments and method statements
• Investigate incidents and provide recommendations where required
• Promote a positive health & safety culture across all projects
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings
• Liaise with subcontractors and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Professionally qualified in Health & Safety (NEBOSH Construction Certificate minimum)
• Previous experience working within the construction industry
• Experience working for a main contractor preferred
• Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Full UK driving licence preferred
