We are currently recruiting an experienced Site Engineer for a major highways infrastructure project based in Norwich. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term civils scheme with a leading contractor delivering key highway improvements in the region.
Role Details
- Position: Site Engineer
- Location: Norwich
- Project: Major Highways / Infrastructure Scheme
- Start Date: ASAP
- Rate: £300 – £350 per day
- Contract: Freelance / Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out for highways and civils works
- Managing QA documentation and as-built records
- Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and management
- Ensuring works are completed to specification and programme
- Supporting health & safety compliance on site
Requirements
- Previous experience on highways or major infrastructure projects
- Strong setting out skills
- Competent using Leica or Trimble equipment
- CSCS card essential
- AutoCAD knowledge beneficial
- Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering preferred
