Teaching Assistant- Year 4- Cwmbran:

Academics is a specialist education recruitment agency seeking a motivated and reliable Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 class in a warm, welcoming, and inclusive primary school in Cwmbran, where children feel confident and ready to learn. This is a full-time, temporary role and is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and supporting their learning within Key Stage 2.

The Role Includes:
* Supporting Year 4 pupils with classroom activities and learning tasks
* Assisting the class teacher with small group work and interventions
* Helping pupils stay focused, engaged, and supported throughout the school day
* Providing general classroom support as needed
* Working Monday to Friday, starting in September 2026 or earlier

Minimum Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
* Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
* Previous experience working with children, ideally in a school setting
* Good understanding of primary education and Key Stage 2 (KS2)
* Fluent written and spoken English
* A positive, patient, and supportive approach
* Ability to work well as part of a team and follow guidance
