Nurture Teacher – SEN School

KT24 | September 2026 Start | Full Time

An excellent SEN school in KT24 is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Nurture Teacher for a September 2026 start.

The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism, SEMH and communication difficulties, and is committed to providing a nurturing and therapeutic learning environment where every student can thrive.

This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about inclusion and enjoys supporting pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs through creative and personalised learning approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching within a nurture provision
  • Support pupils’ emotional regulation, communication and engagement
  • Plan differentiated lessons to meet individual EHCP outcomes
  • Create a positive and structured classroom environment
  • Work closely with pastoral teams, therapists and parents
  • Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • QTS or equivalent qualification
  • Experience within SEN, nurture or alternative provision settings
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A calm, empathetic and flexible approach
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
