Nurture Teacher – SEN School

An excellent SEN school in KT24 is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Nurture Teacher for a September 2026 start.
The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism, SEMH and communication difficulties, and is committed to providing a nurturing and therapeutic learning environment where every student can thrive.
This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about inclusion and enjoys supporting pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs through creative and personalised learning approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching within a nurture provision
- Support pupils’ emotional regulation, communication and engagement
- Plan differentiated lessons to meet individual EHCP outcomes
- Create a positive and structured classroom environment
- Work closely with pastoral teams, therapists and parents
- Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- QTS or equivalent qualification
- Experience within SEN, nurture or alternative provision settings
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A calm, empathetic and flexible approach
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
