Are you a passionate mathematician dedicated to inspiring the next generation of problem solvers? Our prestigious Private School in Blackburn is seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics to join our high-performing faculty on a permanent basis starting September 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Delivery: Teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE). The ability to teach A-Level Mathematics or Further Maths is highly desirable.

  • Engagement: Foster a love for the subject through creative lesson planning and real-world applications of mathematical concepts.

  • ECT Support: For Early Career Teachers, we provide a structured mentoring programme and reduced timetable to support your professional growth.

  • Departmental Contribution: Participate in extracurricular math clinics, UKMT challenges, and STEM initiatives.



Requirements (Essential)

  • Qualifications: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent, with a strong degree in Mathematics or a highly numerate discipline.

  • Candidate Profile: Open to experienced teachers and ECTs looking to start their career in the independent sector.

  • Safeguarding: A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) is mandatory.

  • Location: Based in or able to commute to Blackburn, Lancashire.
