Quality Engineer Contract

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex engineering projects, ensuring compliance, product integrity, and continuous improvement across production and supply chain activities.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving quality standards, supporting both internal operations and external suppliers to meet stringent industry and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards
- Conduct internal, supplier, and process audits
- Manage non-conformances and lead root cause investigations (8D, 5 Whys)
- Implement and drive corrective and preventive actions
- Support FAIRs, PPAP, and APQP activities
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams
- Demonstrable experience as a Quality Engineer within aerospace, defence, or similar regulated industries
- Strong working knowledge of AS9100 and quality management systems
- Experience in auditing and supplier quality management
- Effective problem-solving skills with a structured approach
- Ability to operate independently and integrate quickly into contract roles
- Competitive day rate (DOE)

- Warwickshire-based, with on-site presence required
