Requirements:
- Experienced Site Manager with a strong groundworks background
- Must have hands-on experience working on groundworks stages of construction projects
- Ability to manage day-to-day site operations without supervision
- Confident overseeing subcontractors and groundworks gangs
- Strong understanding of excavation, drainage, earthworks, and associated civils works
- SMSTS (preferred) and valid CSCS card required
- Able to start immediately – no interview required (based on relevant experience)
Responsibilities:
- Manage all on-site activities during groundworks stage
- Coordinate labour, plant, and subcontractors
- Ensure health & safety compliance at all times
- Maintain site diaries, inductions, and daily briefings
- Monitor progress and report updates to project management
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
