Full-Time | Monday to Friday | £95 - £115 per day

A welcoming Nursery School in St Albans is seeking a caring and committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

This rewarding role involves supporting a nursery-aged child with physical disabilities and additional learning needs on a 1:1 basis, helping them to access learning, build communication skills, and thrive within a supportive nursery environment.



The Role:

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday
  • Providing dedicated 1:1 support within the nursery setting
  • Supporting the child's learning, engagement, and social interaction
  • Assisting with mobility and personal care when required
  • Working closely with the class team, SENCO, and external professionals
  • Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment


The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN
  • A patient, compassionate, and proactive attitude
  • Experience supporting physical disabilities and learning difficulties is desirable
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion for supporting children in early years education
