We are currently seeking a reliable and compassionate Mini Bus Driver to join our team, supporting a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school based in Reading.
This is a rewarding opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring the safe, comfortable, and timely transportation of our students to and from school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport students to and from school in a school minibus
- Ensure the wellbeing, safety, and comfort of all passengers at all times
- Build positive, supportive relationships with pupils, many of whom have additional needs
- Carry out basic vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
- Work closely with school staff and follow safeguarding procedures
- A full, valid UK driving licence with entitlement to drive a minibus
- Previous driving experience, ideally in a similar role
- Experience working with or supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), or a willingness to learn
- A calm, patient, and caring approach
- Strong reliability and punctuality
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- A supportive and friendly school environment
