Do you have experience in a administrative/Reception environment? Do you consider yourself to be IT literate? Are you based in or around Hinckley?

If the answer is “Yes”, then DS Smith are looking for someone like you to join their internal team  The successful applicant will be someone with previous reception experience who considers themselves to be a team player, open minded and resilient.  

Role - Receptionist - holiday cover only 

Pay - £13.40 per hour 

Location- DS Smith, Dodwells Road, Hinckley GB-LE10 3BX, United Kingdom

Shift pattern- 3 weeks holiday cover: You must be able to work each day stated.

Week 1: Friday 10th July, 8am till 12.30, 4.5hrs 
Week2: Monday 13th July till Thursday 16th July, 8am till 4.30pm and Friday 17th July 8am till 3.45pm, 32hrs 
Week 3: Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st July, 8am till 4.30pm, 16hrs 

Start date - July 

Responsibilities:

  • Management of the front desk area ensuring all incoming calls, emails and visitors are dealt with professionally and efficiently and in accordance with company guidelines.

  • Monitoring the email inbox, forwarding emails accordingly 

  • Handle franking machine, posts, delivery notes, invoice, etc

Experience needed:

  • Prior experience in a reception or customer service role 

  • Capacity to operate with minimal supervision 

  • Strong IT literacy skills with MS Office and google

  • Confident telephone manner 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills 

  • Great attention to detail
