Our client is recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the safe and reliable operation of electrical systems across multiple assets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as Electrical Subject Matter Expert across site operations and projects
- Lead electrical design and review activities for new installations and modifications
- Develop HV switching programmes and oversee electrical safety compliance
- Support commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities
- Conduct electrical studies including load flow, fault level, and protection grading
- Ensure compliance with ATEX, DSEAR, and UK electrical regulations
- Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering
- Chartered Engineer status or working towards
- CompEx (Ex01–04 essential; Ex12 desirable)
- Experience within COMAH, oil & gas, or chemical sectors
- Strong knowledge of HV/LV systems and hazardous area equipment
- Experience in roles such as Authorised Person or Authorising Engineer
