Are you an experienced and dedicated teacher looking to make a meaningful impact in education? We are seeking a SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in Chiswick, working with pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and a range of additional learning needs.

Key Duties:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to pupils with Autism and additional learning needs.
  • Differentiate teaching methods and resources to meet varying abilities and learning styles.
  • Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress against educational targets.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to maximise pupil achievement.
  • Contribute to EHCP reviews, reports, and educational planning.
  • Promote communication, social development, and life skills throughout the curriculum.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to annual reviews and parent meetings.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school development activities.


Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching pupils with SEN, Autism, or additional learning needs is desirable.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of learning needs.
  • Patient, resilient, and caring approach.
  • Passion for helping young people achieve positive outcomes.
