Location: Basingstoke, RG24 8XX
Position: HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Driver
Shift Start Time: 17:30
Shift Length: Until finish (typically 8–10 hours)
Pay Rate: £20.58 per hour
We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Night Drivers for ongoing work based in Basingstoke (RG24). You will be operating curtainside trailers, transporting goods safely and efficiently during night shifts. This is a great opportunity for drivers seeking regular night work with competitive pay.
Responsibilities- Drive Class 1 (C+E) vehicles on scheduled night routes
- Operate curtainside trailers safely and efficiently
- Complete vehicle checks before and after each shift
- Ensure all deliveries and collections are accurate and on time
- Secure loads correctly and comply with transport legislation
- Complete all relevant paperwork and digital records
- Follow company health and safety procedures at all times
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Minimum 6 months driving experience on Class 1 vehicles
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of drivers' hours and working time regulations
- Previous curtainside experience preferred
- Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious attitude
- Good communication skills
- Competitive pay rate of £20.58 per hour
