Associate / Senior Architect

Location: Chester

Full-Time Office-Based 37.5 Hours per Week

We are currently working on behalf of a well-established multidisciplinary practice seeking to appoint an Associate / Senior Architect to support the continued growth of their Chester office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Architect with 5+ years post-Part III experience who is looking to take the next step in their career, with a clear pathway toward Director-level progression within the next 3–5 years.

The Opportunity
You will play a key role in the expansion of a growing office, working across a diverse portfolio of medium to large-scale projects spanning sectors such as education, commercial, institutional, and leisure.
This position would suit someone with experience in the North / North West region, who is confident in leading projects and keen to take on increased responsibility, including contributing to business development and client growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage projects across all RIBA stages
Contribute to business development and office growth
Support both design and technical delivery of projects
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and wider project teams
Produce and review technical drawings and specifications
Present design solutions internally and externally
Attend site visits, client meetings, and oversee project delivery

About You

Qualified Architect with minimum 5 years’ post-Part III experience
Strong experience across all RIBA stages
Excellent technical knowledge, including UK Building Regulations
Proficient in Revit with strong project delivery experience
Experience working within the North / North West (preferred)
Ambitious, with a clear desire to progress toward a Director-level role
Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
Collaborative approach to working within an office environment
