Grounds Maintenance Operatives in Market Harborough required to work with leading housing association based in the Midlands.

I am looking for an experienced grounds maintenance operative/ commercial gardener to work with the maintenance team of a housing association.

Work will include domestic property grounds maintenance, such as grass cutting, lawn mowing, hedge strimming, pruning, litter removal. Use of mechanical horticultural/ gardening equipment.

This will be a permanent contact.

Depot is based in Market Harborough so will need to be fairly local.

Location: Market Harborough

Job role: Ground Maintenance Operative - Grass Cutting, Lawn Mowing, Hedge Strimming, Pruning etc, weed control. Using mechanical grounds maintenance experience.

Salary: £28,512

  • Permanent contract with work all year round
  • 25 days holiday plus 8 paid bank holidays and option to buy up to 5 days leave per year

The working pattern for this role is a permanent annualised contract:

Summer (March - November) 42.5 hours a week Monday to Friday

Winter (December - February) 32.5 hours a week Monday to Thursday

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping or a manual role
  • UK Driving License
  • Able to safely use mechanical horticultural and grounds maintenance machinery
