Quantity Surveyor

Salford, Greater Manchester
Salary/Rate:
£50,000 - £65,000/annum £50,000 - £65,000 (DOE), plus package

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading UK main contractor delivering high-quality Residential and Commercial developments. This role will be based on a flagship project in Manchester, contributing to the successful delivery of a large-scale scheme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all cost-related aspects of the project from inception to completion
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow
  • Oversee procurement and manage subcontractor accounts
  • Provide accurate reporting to support project delivery and profitability
  • Manage valuations and variations


About You

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within residential housing / apartment schemes
  • JCT experience
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Excellent knowledge of construction contracts and cost control
  • Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
